Poetry has always been a positive way for me to express myself, and evaluate my emotions. My goal is to help others through my poetry, especially veterans like me. You are not alone, and we are strong and we will never forget. Soldier suicide is a very serious and ever growing problem in our country, and needs to be acknowledged. If my words can help even one veteran see another day with some hope, I have succeeded. From an early age, I have had problems with my temper. Writing has given me an outlet for that, and has allowed me to conquer some of my demons. PTSD, trauma, and a hard life have brought me close to my knees, but expressing myself through my writing has saved my life. This book is for my sisters and brothers.
