There’s no sense in looking back
If only pain and stultifying sadness
Begins to fill your fragile psyche
And brings you closer to deep dark madness
But if looking back does serve to soothe
And helps you see how much you did achieve
Then celebrate and still look back
And your past you’ll not choose to grieve
